Man, I didn't intend for my Top 23 list to take so long. Any surprises for anyone? Anything you own that you think should be mentioned? Anything you think I definitely need to buy because it's just so good? Let er fly....
Well Jimmyz, Silers Bald - Real Life had better be good. Based solely on your placement as the #1 overall album I placed my order this afternoon. I have never heard any of their music, as a matter of fact I have never even heard of Silers Bald! Your life as a music reviewer hangs in the ropes...more to follow once I get my CD. Vander Top
well, shall we all just say that high school was a very, very long time ago. Not that it didn't happen (although I doubt grits would make my current top 20 but I would listen to it), just that it was at a different time in our lives.
Got my copy of Real Life earlier this week. I have listened to the album a couple of times already. I would say that for me personally it isn't my favorite album ever but it was definitely worth the $. The music is more vocals than what I expected but then when I think about where you are probably coming from that would make sense. I don't have a very keen ear for music and evaluating different styles and what not in music - I just know what I like to hear and not much more. Everyone should know that being forced to play the french horn to help you develop an ear for tones DOES NOT WORK!
So - James thanks for the album suggestion. I should also mention that Hannah likes it. She claps when it comes on in the car! That makes a Dad smile!

Oh, my life as a music reviewer...this is a lot of pressure from someone who seemed to tend towards rap music in high school...
